Srinagar, Kargil and Leh Ladakh Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Check in to the hotel & proceed for local sight scene visiting Mughal Gardens, CheshmaShahi(Royal Spring), Nishat (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar( Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City &Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock. In the evening you can go for Shikara Ride (on your own) at Dal Lake.
Day 2
After breakfast, go for an excursion to Sonmarg. There you will visit Baltal Valley & enjoy the beauty of Sonmarg. Then go back to Srinagar. Stay overnight in Srinagar hotel.
Day 3
Depart from Srinagar to Leh by road. Night stay at Kargil
Day 4
Arrival at Leh. Day at Leisure.
Day 5
Leave for Leh sightseeing. Magnetic Hill - which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape.

Sangam - 4 km before Nimu village, The Confluence of Two River Zanskar and Indus is called Sangam. The National high way is passing on the cliff so you can see the confluence and both river starches coming out from the colourful mountain George.

Gurudwara Pathar Sahib - Situated 25 miles from Leh, It is believed that once Guru Nanak ji was meditating demon attack by threw large stone on the Guru Nanak ji. The boulder melt while touching the Guru ji .In the shape of Guru Nanak ji the demon tried to crush Guru Nanak by kicking the boulder with all his might.

Spituk Gonpa - 8-9 Kms from Leh, From the Monastery one can see the Indus valley and on other side Airport and Leh town .Many icons of Buddha and fine Thangkas are to be found in this 15th century old Gonpa.

Ladakh Hall of Fame: The Hall of Fame is a glorious War cum historic museum build by the Army. It is worth a visit for every citizen. Kargil War strategies and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh. Here’s something that you will be proud of our defence personnel who sacrificed themselves so that we could live in peace.

Leh Palace: Is built by King Sengay Namgyal of Namgyal Dynasty in 17th century. The Palace is nine story high, and it overlook the main Market, Stok Kangri. The upper story was earlier used by the royal family. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6
Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. 
Khardung la Pass (18,380ft above sea level): It is not very often that one gets to drive on a road at an altitude of 18,380 feet. That is where Khardungla Pass, meaning the ‘Pass of Lower Castle,’ is located on the way from Leh to the Nubra Valley in Ladakh. It is the highest motorable road in the world as signs put up by the Border Roads Organization proudly proclaim.
Arrive Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis).
Nubra Valley: Popularly called the orchard of Ladakh, Nubra valley offers a graceful view of yellow and pink wild roses in summer and a carpet of wild lavender in the post-monsoon season. You will definitely be overwhelmed to see the Bactrian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around sand dunes.

Thereafter, check in at Swiss comfortable Camp or Hotel.
Enjoy the evening at leisure.

Have a delicious dinner and comfortable overnight stay at the camp or hotel.
Day 7
After enjoying the beauty and captivating views of the Nubra Valley, we get ready to check another location that would leave us awestruck off our list - the Pangong Lake! We begin our ride post breakfast towards the ink blue lake, taking the unexplored and untouched Shyok village route. This route is famous for its waterfalls, and the beautiful scenic view. The first view of the lake will leave you spellbound and as we breathe that in, we continue towards our campsite near the lake. A sumptuous dinner with a chit-chat session would bring an end to the day.
Day 8
Laddakh via Srinagar A Fantastic Trip (8N-9D)
During early morning, you can enjoy a photo-session around the lake. Post breakfast, drive back to Leh. An optional tour of Hemis Monastery (5 kilometre away from Leh near Kharu) is also on the cards. Hemis is the largest and richest monastery complex in Ladakh. Drive back to Leh by noon. In the afternoon, enjoy a shopping tour in the local markets of Leh. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 9
The Ladakh vacations ends today. Depart on time for the Leh airport . Hope you have memories unlimited from this trip!
